12 Fall Skincare Launches to Shop This Month

It’s a brand new month, which means that new products are making their way onto store websites and shelves and into our medicine cabinets. These are the products Skincare.com’s editors can’t live without this November.

Kiehl’s Amino Acid Scalp Detox Treatment Scrub

Scalp scrubs are pretty much my religion when it comes to washing my hair — and when I heard that Kiehl’s dropped a new one, I couldn’t wait to try it. This scrub contains a 10-amino acid blend, sea salt and salicylic acid to gently exfoliate and decongest. This one has become an absolute staple in my routine because of how thick it is and how nicely it lathers. It also smells subtly sweet (like coconut), and leaves my scalp feeling super clean, oil-free and nourished.

Starface Hydro-Star + Salicylic Acid

Sometimes I need a little more of a heavy-duty pimple patch — don’t get me wrong, I love hydrocolloid ones (they always seem to calm the affected area!), but if I’m looking to target newer pimples or painful ones, I need more! These new patches infused with salicylic acid from Starface have been doing just the job. Not only do they shrink acne just as well as the originals, they also minimize the length of the pimple’s life by killing excess bacteria — a win-win in my book.

Lancôme Absolue Rich Cream Set

This limited-edition set includes full sizes of Lancôme’s Absolue Nurturing & Brightening Oil-In-Gel Cleanser, Absolue Revitalizing and Brightening Rich Cream and Absolue Revitalizing Eye Cream. I’m adding this hydrating trio infused with rose extracts to my holiday wish list since I know my skin will need some rejuvenating during the busy season going into the new year. I can’t think of a more luxurious way to treat skin this fall and winter!

BYBI Bakuchiol Skin Restore Light Weight Night Cream

If uneven tone or texture is a concern of yours, this natural retinol alternative might just be your speed. Although I've just started using it, I’m a big fan of BYBI’s cruelty-free, vegan products in genera,l so I have high hopes for this. As a newer member of the ‘30 club,’ anti-aging has been high on my list of priorities when it comes to my skincare, so when there's a 100% natural product that promises to fight fine lines, wrinkles and sagging, I’m all over it.

Garnier Green Labs Hyalu-Melon Replumping Serum Sheet Mask

A sheet mask is such a fun, easy way to pamper myself. One of my favorite nighttime rituals is lighting a candle, picking out a book from the stack next to my bed and popping on a face mask. Lately, it’s been this one from Garnier, which is infused with hyaluronic acid. I leave it on for only five minutes, slather myself with the excess serum from the pack and go to sleep looking dewy and refreshed.

Irene Forte Triple Level Hyaluronic Acid Serum

When shopping for a hyaluronic acid serum, I’ve been told time and time again by dermatologists that it’s important to look for both low- and high-molecular weights of H.A. This allows the hyaluronic acid to better penetrate the layers of your skin, leading to more hydration. The Irene Forte hyaluronic acid serum contains a triple-weight blend that leaves my dry skin seriously soft and moisturized. I’ve had to stop myself from using it morning and night because I’m so afraid to run out of it.

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer

Finding a lightweight moisturizer that still provides deep hydration during the colder months is no easy task, but this one is feather-light and ultra-nourishing. Formulated with a powerhouse of reparative ingredients like ceramides, glycerin, niacinamide and La Roche-Posay’s signature prebiotic thermal water, this fast-absorbing cream provides up to 48 hours of hydration and feels completely weightless. On top of providing intense hydration, it helps to repair the skin barrier so skin looks bouncy and healthy.

Odele Soothing Body Wash

As the weather gets colder, it’s crucial for me to add more hydrating products to my arsenal to keep my already dry skin from becoming cracked and sensitive. In the past, I’ve neglected to give my body the same moisturizing treatment as my face, but this year I’m staying one step ahead with this soothing body wash. Formulated with oats, which are known for their ultra-moisturizing properties, this body wash supports the skin’s natural barrier while gently cleansing away sweat, dirt and other impurities. My skin is left feeling nourished and hydrated and smelling fresh.

CeraVe Skin Renewing Nightly Exfoliating Treatment

I’m a huge fan of acids — AHAs and BHAs have seriously made all the difference to improve the texture of my skin. When CeraVe launched the Skin Renewing Nightly Exfoliating Treatment, formulated with a potent blend of glycolic and lactic acids, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the formula said to accelerate cell renewal overnight. Spoiler alert: come morning, my skin looked refreshed and felt noticeably smoother. I can’t wait to see what it does for my skin after incorporating it into my daily routine.

Farmacy Clearly Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm

If there’s one product that my roommate and I can agree on, it’s the Farmacy Clearly Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm. We have completely different skin types — hers dry, mine oily — but we both find that no other cleansing product melts away makeup and SPF as gently and effectively as this one. Plus, it leaves skin feeling hydrated and smooth instead of tight and overdried.

Kiehl’s Rare Earth Mask Duo

This time of year, I love to stock up on my favorite skincare go-to’s that come in value sets for the holidays. I’ve been a long-time fan of this pore-clearing mask as it helps to minimize the appearance of enlarged pores on my nose and makes my skin feel smooth. This set is perfect for restocking me as well as giving me a smaller, more convenient size to travel with.

Covey Last But Not Least Moisturizer

As someone with oily skin, finding a moisturizer that’s a middle ground between being lightweight and hydrating enough is not an easy feat. But with this moisturizer that feels like a hybrid between a gel and a cream, I’ve met my match. It gives my skin the moisture it needs without making me appear greasy. Plus, the ultra-soft texture makes for a soothing self-care moment when applying it.
